I realized today that I don't have any of my work featuring Yve, my drow character, up on deviantART. So here she is. Yve is a college-aged student, going to school in an area that's roughly based on modern-day life.
I drew this way back in February '08 after learning some depressing news. It was good therapy, drawing my then-newest character scarffing down some Ben & Jerry's ice cream, while I ate half a pint myself in real life.
Obviously, because it's so old, this doesn't reflect my current style. I still like the piece, though. The colors, especially, are surprisingy deep for my style back then.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
